If you’re a student alone who doesn’t like to play games all that much, your best bet would be to go with the MacBook Air M1.
It’s a great, lightweight, and powerful laptop that can rip through all your student tasks, and gives you great build quality that can handle the abuse laptops usually have to face at this student life phase.
Also, it’s got a great display and speakers that are crucial for watching any kind of videos you like to watch, and it has great battery life that’ll last you through your whole school or college day.
Battery timing is great, but charging time isn’t when compared to the Acer Swift X which charges at 90 W, and the MacBook Air M1 charges at 30 W.
If you’re a gamer, Acer Swift X is where you need to head.
There’s almost nothing in the MacBook Air M1 that attracts gamers, so better to avoid it. Also, I’m a gamer myself in my spare time and ask me how I feel being unable to play my favorite game Fortnite on this MacBook Air M1. 🥲

Just an Average Joe, Huh?
If you’re just a regular guy who likes to play games occasionally and works on their laptop as well, then still Acer Swift X is the way to go for you.
MacBook Air M1 is only for students and professionals who strictly do office or student work on their laptop and nothing else that requires a dedicated, more powerful GPU that you absolutely must have if you want to play games.
