Is Dell Inspiron 15 5000 a Good Laptop?
Yes Dell Inspiron 15 5000 is a great basic laptop for most people.
However if you need a laptop that can run heavy software or want to play games then I would recommend spending more and getting the Dell Inspiron 15 7000.

The processor is great for most people; it is powerful enough to handle basic tasks like watching movies and browsing Facebook or Pinterest but not powerful enough to run games or heavy software like Photoshop.
8 GB DDR3L SDRAM
The RAM in this model is sufficient for most people; 8GB of DDR3 is good for most computing tasks such as internet browsing and word processing.
1 TB HDD Storage
The hard disk drive storage in this model is good for storing music photos and other files.
However an SSD would’ve been a better option because of the faster speeds.
15.6 Inch WXGA (1366×768) LED-lit Truelife Touchscreen
The display is great but it could be better; 1440p and 4k displays would’ve been nice to have in this laptop but most people won’t notice a difference between 720p and 1080p on a 15.6-inch screen.
