Keyboard Not Appearing In Device Manager – How To Fix?

If your keyboard isn’t appearing in Device Manager don’t worry—you can easily fix the problem.

Here’s what you need to do:

First open Device Manager.

You can do this by pressing the Windows key + R then typing “devmgmt.msc” into the Run dialog box.

Once Device Manager is open look for the “Keyboards” category.

If you don’t see it click the “View” menu and select “Show Hidden Devices“.

Now find the keyboard device in the list.

If it’s there right-click it and select “Uninstall“.

Once the keyboard has been uninstalled restart your computer.

When your computer starts back up your keyboard should now be appearing in Device Manager.

You can try updating your BIOS to the latest version to see if that fixes the problem.

To update your BIOS you’ll need to go to your computer manufacturer’s website and download the latest BIOS update for your model of computer.

Once you’ve downloaded the update follow the instructions on how to install it.

After you’ve updated your BIOS restart your computer and check to see if your keyboard is now appearing in Device Manager.
