I don’t think it’s a good laptop choice for those who want one for office work or for writing etc.

MacBook Pro M1 is pretty much the dream come true for professionals who don’t want a demanding laptop but do want more battery life for remote work sessions or just to be more portable.

This isn’t quite possible with the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro.

You’ll have to be plugged in all the time through the power cord to get the maximum performance while with MacBook Pro M1 you get all that power without needing to be plugged in all the time.

Which Is Better?

For those who want the absolute best battery life want a laptop for mostly editing videos or anything that has to do with productivity and office environment get the MacBook Pro M1.

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro is the complete opposite.

If you do not care about the battery life want the absolute best performance (when playing games) and also don’t want a laptop for office but mainly for gaming and editing videos for your gaming YouTube channel or streaming on Twitch then get the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro.

If you get the MacBook Pro M1 for this purpose you’ll waste your money.

Trust me I’ve been there.

I own a MacBook M1 and I can’t even play Fortnite on it properly which is pretty much the only game I like to play.

I have to use my Windows laptop whenever I get the urge to play it.
