If you want to take a photo using your laptop camera one of the easiest ways is to download a third-party app.

There are tons of options out there but we recommend Camera for Windows 10.

It’s a free app that you can download from the Microsoft Store.

Use the Camera App that Comes with Windows 10

Did you know that there’s actually a Camera app that comes with Windows 10? If you didn’t now you do! To find it just search for “Camera” in the Start Menu.

Once you open it up you should be able to take a photo using your laptop camera with no problem.

Use the Windows 10 Camera App in Full-Screen Mode

If you want to get the most out of your laptop camera we recommend using the Windows 10 Camera app in full-screen mode.

To do this just click on the “Settings” icon in the app and then select “Full Screen.” This will make the app take up your entire screen giving you a better view of what you’re trying to take a photo of.
